Question Mobile plugin for ML9 on vb.net site

    Hi,

I have been asked to create a mobile site for a customer and I have found this plugin: http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/p...e-plug-in.aspx. My site is vb.net and AspDotNetStoreFront support have told me that the plugin is only in C#. Has anyone successfully run a C# plugin on a vb.net site before?

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards,

    Lindsay

I know this is possible, but sometimes can be tricky. However, I must ask: why don't you just use the mobile template instead of paying for this service?

    Hi,

That is what I thought. I don't fancy mixing languages to be honest. Our freelancer mentioned it to my manager who thought it was a good idea but the freelancer hasn't used it before and therefore couldn't elaborate further. So, before I say to my manager that we can/cannot use it I just wanted to check that it was very tricky so I can recommend the out of the box templates instead!

    Thanks for the info.

Yea, the template system for mobile devices is wonderful for ASPDNSF. The only thing I would do is redefine what ASPDNSF calls a mobile device, as I think it does a poor job at telling. I would also put a link at the bottom of every page, mobile and desktop, that allows the user to select their template. Then make sure to save that preference as a cookie.
