    Default Multistore Site Redirect

I have followed the procedures in the manual to set up a new store and have taken the steps in applying the new license but my new url keeps re-directing to my default home page.
Has any run into this before or know of any troubleshooting steps I can take to fix it?
    Thanks.

Have you set up the domains under Store Maintenence>Domains

If so it should work ok. Reset the cache too see if that solves your problem. If not then see if you can see your new site by adding /?skinid=2 to the end of your working url

Here is what it looks like in the dashboard, do I need to create a new skin for it?
I was under the assumption that it uses the same one.

    Hi

I can't view your image that well but it looks like you have the same production url for both sites.

If the sites have different domains you will need to change the second one to the other domain. I would also remove the other domain names to so you just have production showing, then reset the cache and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply but my url's are not the same.
    They are as follows:

    Site 1: www.promax.com
    Site 2: atlas.promax.com

Do you know if I have to create a separate skin file for Site 2 or can I point it to the same skin file for Site 2?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

I do not believe you need separate skins. However you will not see any difference between the two sites if they are using the same skin unless you have added any custom code to detect the store and display things differently from within the same skin.

Have you resolved this yet? I navigated to both URLs and they loaded fine, without any redirecting.

    Thanks,

@ ChrisAtAbilityBusiness - yes we finally got this figured out and have both stores working.
Now we need to figure out how to create custom variants for products to have different prices for the 2 stores :-(
Do you know a quick fix for that?
    Thanks.

You may be able to set a default CustomerLevel for each site (for example, the www. domain may set all new Customers to CustomerLevel 1 while the atlas. domain could set all new Customers to a CustomerLevel of 2.) From there, you could either give a global discount % to the appropriate CustomerLevel, or if the pricing structure is more complex, you could go through and set up full, per-Product Extended pricing for the appropriate CustomerLevel.

    Hope this helps,

    EDIT:
There is an AppConfig for default CustomerLevel.
    Thanks,
