Thread: Version 9.3 and Update Rights

Default Version 9.3 and Update Rights

We don't announce release dates, since we follow an insistent policy of "releasing on readiness," but yes, we are deep in testing.

For those of you who have already secured your Update Rights, there will be no license fee to upgrade to 9.3. If you don't have Update Rights, you might want to take advantage of this short window where we're allowing our customers to purchase them ala carte for $299 (as opposed to only with the purchase of a license, as is our usual policy). Click here to get your Update Rights >

Remember that no matter which version you're currently on, Update Rights will allow you to upgrade to the latest version, including those not yet released, for the next 12 months.

After May 4th, if you decide you do want to upgrade, the cost will increase to at least half the price of the full platform. You can read more about that here >

My update rights expire September. Any chance of a rough estimate of when 9.3 is out?

We don't ever want our upgrade protection to be value-less. For thousands of people, Update Rights have already opened the door to 9.2. Some people were already using 9.2 when they invested in Update Rights. MS 9.2 came out on September 2nd and we are entirely confident that 9.3 will be out long before the anniversary of that date.

    Default update question

    Hi,

the company im working with had purchased your multi store software with update rights about 3-4 years ago. obviously the update rights have expired at this point, i was just wondering if this special means we could purchase the update rights again for $299 instead of having to purchase a new version + update rights?

That's exactly right. After today, when you want to upgrade to a newer release, you will have to buy the full platform for at least twice as much as the $299 it will cost today.
