My Multistore client would like their store to charge a $1 fee upon authorizing the credit card at checkout and then when the order is shipped, capture the remaining funds. The gateway is Authorize.net and I'm guessing I need to start with them, but am not sure where to start or even what this kind of charge would be called. Has anyone else done this type of thing? Thanks for any input!
