Default Adding Custom Shipper - Won't appear as an option.

    To whom it may concern:

We recently purchased the source code and our developer edited RTshipping to add a new shipper. To test to make sure we are hitting the code correctly he created a shipper with a fixed price of $1200 in the code. The problem is it will not show up as a shipping option when we add the new dll to the bin directory. We edited the appconfig setting to include "ODFL" (RTShipping.ActiveCarrier, RTShipping.DomesticCarriers) and we attempted to add a new shipper in "Shipping Methods" as your documentation states.

Is there anything we are missing? Any guidance would be great!

    Sincerely,
    Danny Mitsios

    Default Is this true?

I sent this same message to Vortex and this was there reply.

Unless the code is modified to allow it, the 'fixed' methods cannot be used at the same time as the RTS methods (only one or the other).

Assisting with customizations is outside the scope of the Help Desk. Adding an RTShipper can be fairly complicated. You can discuss this in the Users Forum:

Or consult with one of our knowledgeable Development Partners:

I thought you could have both Real Time Shippers and Fixed.

    Any help would be appreciated.
