How to customize the Product Details page?

Hello,
I'd like to customize the Product Details page in the ADNSF according to my specific requirement. I want to know does ADNSF use the XmlPackage to render the product details page? If so, which XmlPackage does it render to show the product details? Is it possible for me to write my own XmlPackage and configure it in Admin site to show product details?

You could do that by creating your own xmlpackage or modifying the existing product.*.xml.config ({root}/XMLPackages), which your product was assigned to in the product manager's page in the admin.
