How do I get multi images to be displayed on the product page? I am using product.SimpleProduct.xml.config to display my products on version 7.0.1.1
I set up a product with the multi-image manager and uploaded 2 images but on the product page there is no where to click to see the other images.
Do I need to set up some code on the product.xml.config?
Thanks

Did you upload the two image in the icon, medium, or large multi-image manager? I just tested here locally and it seems to be working fine. You MUST upload the images into the medium multi-image manager for the additional icons to show up under the image on the product page.

Ok, i see what I did wrong...I did have the image in the medium image section, however I only had 1 image there. I didn't know I needed to put the orriginal image in there again or have at least 2 images in the multi image manager.
Working great now :)

"multi" means more than one :D

I had started the count with the orriginal image and used the 1 image in the multi tab as the second..... :)

The icon multi-images are not used anywhere out of the box. We just put the functionality there for consistency.

Would it be possible using the multiimage thumbnails to randomly call thumbs for a product inside entity.gridwithprices.xml.config? So if you have a product with say, 5 thumbs, upon browsing a department with the item, the shopper may see one of 5 random thumbs representing that product?

Sure, I don't see why not. You'd have to create an extension function to do that, then invoke it from the XmlPackage

Has anyone got the multi-images working then?
Do you have some code to share?

Yes, they work fine, and no known bugs.

How do I get them to display then?
I am trying to call from the productgridwithprices.xml. I need the main product image, then the next two from the multi-image manager to show on the product page.
Please help.
